When the sliders are forced to depart from a world early, the timer is damaged and the group becomes separated. They arrive on a world where the “Free Love” movement of the 1960s is still alive, and the Hippies are protesting the American troops in Australia. While Wade and Rembrandt fall into the company of a commune who mistake them for extraterrestrial prophets, Quinn and Arturo try to repair the broken timer.
